Hamlet Video International Limited is a British company dedicated to the design, manufacture and supply of innovative, high quality and cost-effective test and measurement equipment to the broadcast industry worldwide.

Having invented " On Screen Test and Measurement" Hamlet licensed Tektronix and supplied chip sets to Leader Electronics. Hamlet had completely eliminated CRTs problems from television broadcast measurement instruments, thereby removing the need for routine display recalibration and thus reducing significantly the cost of ownership of a precision instrument. Hamlet was first to market these all-digital platforms that are now the industry standard. Hamlet  continues development in the baseband, file based and compressed domains of broadcast test and measurement .

The company has developed test and measurement software to be used in conjunction with broadcast systems running on standard computers.  

Hamlet continues to develop and design devices suitable for all areas of broadcasting, the latest being the Enterprise for QoS of streamed programming. Hamlets ethos is ‘excellence in vision’ a paramount goal
